University of Cape Town Vice-Chancellor Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng attended the launch of the renamed Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance in Rondebosch on 5 July 2018.
Originally called the Graduate School of Development Policy and Practice, the unit was launched in 2011 and promotes the development of strategic public leadership, including a strong emphasis on public sector reform, accountability and trust in governance.
