Statement by Students' Representative Council
Contrary to what has been reported in the media, neither the SRC nor any SRC members were involved in organising the protest. Furthermore, no SRC members threw any substance at the Rhodes statue, SRC President Ramabina Mahapa said in a statement released on 11 March 2015.
