UCT hosts 5th Annual Heads of Mission Breakfast

The University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Vice-Chancellor Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng hosted the 5th annual Heads of Mission Breakfast on Thursday, 10 February, ahead of President Cyril Ramaphosa’s State of the Nation Address.

The event offers UCT an opportunity to reach out to its international partners, and entrench and celebrate its prestigious global status. Among the keynote speakers at the event included, Associate Professor Co-Pierre Georg, who holds the South African Reserve Bank Research Chair in Financial Stability Studies at UCT’s School of Economics, Prof Val Mizrahi, the director of the Institute of Infectious Disease and Molecular Medicine at UCT and Dr Catherine Duggan, the Director (Dean) of the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business (GSB).
