VC visits Joe Slovo Engineering High School in Khayelitsha
11 January 2022 | Director Rozanne Engel. Video Carbon Visuals. Photo Lerato Maduna.The University of Cape Town’s (UCT) Vice-Chancellor, Mamokgethi Phakeng visited the Joe Slovo Engineering High School in Khayelitsha on 23 November 2021.
Her visit marked the launch of the UCT Vision 2030 Future Graduate T-shirt, which aims to promote admissions to the university. Dr Malibongwe Manono, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at UCT and a former learner at the High School also addressed learners.
