The Professional Communication Unit (PCU) and Business in Context have rewarded students who took part in a project on sustainability in business. The seven students, honoured with certificates and cash vouchers for their outstanding reports, were part of a larger group that investigated the sustainability of small- to medium-sized companies as part of their studies.

The students are currently doing their postgraduate diplomas in marketing, tourism, sport and entrepreneurship. The students had to identify the companies and assess their sustainability practices in terms of social responsibility, environmental sensitivity, and financial accountability.

"We hope this award will inspire action towards more and better green practices in business," said Terri Grant, head of PCU.
